Part 1: The power of Telematics for fleet reporting

Information at your fingertips

With fleet reporting, you can schedule any of a number of reports that are listed. For example, you can plan a report on weekend vehicle use for every Monday at 3am and ask to have activities over the last seven days emailed to you.

So when you get into the office on that morning, the report will have been emailed to you and waiting in your inbox. Employers can quickly check which vehicles were used over the weekend and then, if the vehicle usage was unauthorised, the driver who was involved can be contacted.

Or in another example that is common among our customers, Fleet Managers can use the movement reports to see which vehicles were taken over the border.

Vehicles that are under a Full Maintenance Lease require a letter of authorisation because of the risks involved in cross-border travel.

Making your life easier

Using the movement report can also help with your logbook that is compliant with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

Avis Fleet can take the hassle out of this potentially complicated and time-consuming matter.

With the movement report, you can get a full-day report and use an auto process function, and the Avis Fleet SARS-compliant logbook can record your trips to make compliance much easier.

Convenient to use

The reports can be set for the last 24 or 48 hours, the last seven days, the last 14 days, or the last month.

Users can add any of the reports that are available on the drop-down menu. Simply give the report a title and you can have it sent to your email inbox in a PDF or Excel format.
